District 6600 Newsletter

Dave Holland was the 2001 recipient of the Elyria Rotary Club Service Above Self Award. Many members stated it was overdue for Dave’s dedicated work in writing the award winning “ Ramrod ” newsletter for the Elyria Rotary Club.Dave implemented sending the newsletter out by e-mail. The experiment has been a huge success. Accordingly, District Governor Bill Ruse has reappointed Dave to write the District 6600 Newsletter.

Assign a member of your club the duty of reporting significant events and news items to the district newsletter editor at: djh817@attbi.com

Some suggestions:

List your club social events;
Fund raising events;
Recognition of members;
Photos with captions

Only e-mail correspondence or items that can be scanned will be used. If possible, convert any printed material to MS WORD or a text only file. All photos must be in JPEG of 80KB or less. Copy of 150 words or less and sharp color photos are preferred.
