GRANTS APPLICATIONS
Our part of applying for a Matching Grant is very simple,
because the country where the project is taking place does most of the
work on the application.
If your club is
looking for an International Service Project, just go to the Rotary home page:
www. Rotary.org
and then to World Community Service and then to WCS Projects Exchange Database.
You may qualify your search by country, type of project and size of project.
There are literally hundreds of possibilities available.
After you pick your project, make contact with the
project manager to make certain your choice is still available. If so,
tell them to start the grant request and forward to you with all the supporting
paperwork. You then have your President sign and forward to Rotary International.
After Rotary International approves the request and
assigns a Matching Grant number, you will send your check to R.I.
That's all there is to it!
If you require any assistance at all, don't hesitate
to contact me.
