David V. Daugherty has been a Rotarian since 1975, with membership in the Rotary Clubs of Inkster, Michigan; Hartford, Connecticut; and Mansfield, Ohio.

He served as President of Hartford (Connecticut) Rotary in 1986-1987 and Mansfield (Ohio) Rotary in 2001-2002. In Connecticut, he was an Assistant District Governor for two terms and served in a variety of leadership posts. Daugherty serves as Editor of the weekly Email Newsletter and the monthly Amplifier Newsletter of the Mansfield Rotary Club. He served District 6600 as Registration Chairman for Rotary International President Carl-Wilhelm Stenhammar’s visit to Ohio in October 2005 and for the 2006 District 6600 Conference.

Daugherty is the former President/CEO of Rehabilitation Service of North Central Ohio, Inc. (The Rehab Center), a position he held from July 1996 until his retirement in July 2002. He has held significant leadership positions in the field of rehabilitation including Chairman of the Boards of Directors of the American Rehabilitation Assoc. and the National Industries for the Severely Handicapped.

David is a Past-President of Board of Directors of the Richland County Regional Planning Commission, and Past Chairman of the Leadership Unlimited Members Group, a volunteer for the Richland County United Way, and Treasurer of the Oak Run Lake Association. He also serves as a Commissioner on the Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission.

DG Daugherty lives in Mansfield with his wife, Jennifer, a registered nurse at Columbus Children’s Hospital. Their children include Loraine, the President of Apollo Enterprises in Utah; Dr. Margaret, a Professor at Middlebury College in Vermont; David, Jr., a Transportation Supervisor for an Assisted Living Facility in Florida; Patrick, a Director for Pharmerica in Florida; Kelly Brian, a Manager for Pharmerica in Longmont, Colorado; and Benjamin, an employee of Roto-Studio in Dublin, Ohio.
